about

Taking inspiration from scientific phenomena and cataclysmic events like The Big Bang, I wanted to capture the notion of entropy into a multi-dimensional sonic experience. Each note and sound represent atoms coalescing, splitting and expanding in all directions to form the structures and fragments of time and space. Over the course of these 15 minutes, we go on an evolutionary journey: the moment the universe began; life beginning in its most microscopic form; and concluding with a primitive percussion approach that alludes to glimpses of a new possible reality– unusual animal like noises and deep breaths of space and time.

I have always been fascinated by the concept of merging together order and structure to form complex sound patterns. My goal is that when listening to this, you move through a journal of dichotomies: euphoria and dysphoria, confusion and knowing, and eventually finding peace with the duality of incoherent and coherent of every mini history of our galaxy– each yielding unconventional notions of space and time.
